Acceptance
By accessing or using Catchy Chat — including our free chat rooms, private messaging, multiplayer games, or any other features — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service. These terms apply to all visitors, anonymous guests, and registered members who access the platform.
Anonymous Use & Responsibilities
You may join public chat rooms as an anonymous guest without registration. However, you remain solely responsible for any text, links, or media you post. You agree not to engage in harassment, hate speech, illegal activities, transmission of malware, or distribution of unauthorized material. Registered accounts unlock additional features including private messaging, profile customization, multiplayer game invites, and a persistent XP & level system.
Content Moderation & Ephemerality
We maintain automated AI moderation alongside an active human moderation team across all public chat rooms and private sessions. Messages in public rooms are ephemeral and may be automatically purged after a specified time window. Private messages are stored only for active registered sessions. We reserve the right to delete any content or remove users who violate community safety guidelines.
Multiplayer Games & Fair Play
Our platform offers 10 real-time multiplayer games including Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4, Ludo, UNO, Checkers, Dots & Boxes, Rock Paper Scissors, Memory Match, Snakes & Ladders, and 2048 Daily Challenge. You agree to play fairly and not exploit bugs, use bots, or manipulate game outcomes. Intentional disconnections, repeated forfeits, or game exploitation may result in account restrictions. Bot-hosted practice matches are available and are governed by the same conduct standards.
Termination & Bans
We may terminate or suspend access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, our platform, or third parties. IP-level bans and device fingerprinting may be deployed to enforce safety. Rate limiting is applied globally to prevent API abuse and protect all users on the platform.
User Profiles & XP System
Registered users may create a public profile including a username, avatar, profile frame, country, age range, gender identity, education, profession, and religion. You are responsible for keeping your profile information accurate and appropriate. The XP and level system is tied to platform activity and is subject to change. Profile frames, badges, and cosmetics are non-transferable. We reserve the right to reset XP or revoke badges in the event of a policy violation.
Communications
By using our platform, you agree that any feedback, suggestions, or bug reports sent to us become our property. We may use this information to improve the service without further obligation to you. We may also send service-related notifications via platform alerts if you are a registered user.
